About Our Silver

What 925 Silver Jewellery is made of

A clear explanation of the materials, purity and finish used in our jewellery.

Purity

1. What is 925 sterling silver?

925 sterling silver is a high-quality silver alloy that contains 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% other metals (usually copper) to give strength and durability.

Pure silver (99.9%) is very soft and not suitable for daily-wear jewellery, which is why 925 sterling silver is used worldwide as the standard.

Base Metal

2. Metals we do not use

We do not use low-grade base metals like brass for our silver jewellery. Our focus is on genuine 925 silver pieces designed for long-term use.

Plating

3. Plating & surface finish

Some pieces may have additional plating (for tone and protection), such as:

  • Rhodium plating – for a bright, white-silver shine
  • Yellow / Rose gold plating – for a gold-toned look on top of silver
  • Protective E-coating – to slow down tarnishing and improve life

Details about plating are mentioned in the product specifications wherever applicable.

Stones

4. Stones & embellishments

Depending on the design, we may use:

  • High-quality CZ (cubic zirconia) stones
  • Synthetic coloured stones
  • AAA grade crystals

Stone type and colour are described in each product listing, wherever relevant.

Allergy

5. Skin-friendliness

Our jewellery is nickel-free and lead-free, making it suitable for most sensitive skin types. However, if you have a known metal allergy, please contact us before placing an order.
